- Never leave your candle unattended and keep out of reach of children and pets
- The first time you burn your candle, it’s very important to keep it lit until the whole surface is liquid wax and reaches the edges of the jar. This will prevent the wax from tunnelling, allow your candle to burn evenly and will give your room a stronger fragrance. This can take from 45 minutes to two hours
- We recommend burning your candle for 2-3 hours at a time but for never more than 4 hours
- Keep your wick straight and trimmed to 5mm, this helps control the size of the flame, if the wick is too long it can cause your candle to burn unevenly and too quickly
- Always place candles on a heat-resistant base and set on a level surface.
- Never burn your candle near anything that can catch fire
- The Candle Jar will be hot after lighting, allow to cool before touching or moving
